Learn how to paint portraits of your loved ones, pets or those who inspire you!  Studying the human form can seem intimidating at first but in this class through a series of classical exercises you will feel yourself grow your confidence as your practice develops. This class is a perfect class for teens who have already taken our Beginner Drawing Technique class & want to move on to more complex subject.  This is a great class for honing observational skills, drawings from subject matter (photos and pictures of loved ones or those you admire), devise dramatic poses; profiles or 3/4 views and non-traditional angles. How to use perspective and mid-points to give your subjects a realistic feel.   These preliminary drawing sketches  will help you understand and get to know your subjects before moving on to a fully realized facial portrait painting.  At the end of the session your instructor will offer critique & discussion for future inspiration. Return students are very welcome in this class- practice makes perfect! Perfect for beginners and intermediate students.
