Description:

Improv might be the most challenging of the performing arts for a director to skillfully mold his cast, and this class will show you how to get the most out of your improvisers whether in a class or a rehearsal. Techniques for creating lesson plans, orchestrating rehearsals, and giving notes will be explored. Participants will apply the techniques through hands-on experience directing each other to finding the balance between asserting their artistic voice as a director while not stifling the artistic voice of their improvisers.

(4 meetings. Class size limit 8.)
